This aviation print, titled “Snakes on Parade,” captures “River 2” of Strike Fighter Squadron 204 (VFA-204) leading a diamond formation of F/A-18C Hornets in front of the hometown crowd at Belle Chasse. Flown during one of the final public appearances of the Legacy Hornet, this image celebrates the precision, pride, and Louisiana spirit of the River Rattlers. Based at NAS JRB New Orleans, VFA-204 has long served as the Navy Reserve’s premier adversary squadron, known for its professionalism, heritage, and tactical excellence. It was an honor to document this moment — a farewell to the Legacy Hornet and a salute to the squadron’s enduring legacy.
