Beechcraft C-45 Expeditor

by Timothy Paul Smith Photography

Print Description:

Nicknamed “Bucket of Bolts,” the Beechcraft C-45 Expeditor was a vital multi-role aircraft during World War II. Based on the civilian Model 18, it served as a utility transport, navigation trainer (AT-7), bombing and gunnery trainer (AT-11), and aerial mapping platform (F-2). Over 4,500 were built for the U.S. Army Air Forces, training thousands of pilots, navigators, and bombardiers. Captured at the 2015 WWII Land, Air & Sea Festival in New Orleans, this print honors the unsung backbone of Allied air training. A unique addition for collectors, historians, and aviation educators.
