North American P-51D Mustang
By Timothy Paul Smith Photography
Print Description:
Witness the iconic North American P-51D Mustang Shangri-La on arrival day at the 2020 Wings Over Houston Airshow. This beautifully restored warbird pays tribute to legendary fighter pilot Capt. Don Gentile, the Army Air Forces’ leading ace by April 1944, credited with 27.8 enemy aircraft destroyed in the air and on the ground.
