Captured at the 2016 Wings Over Houston Airshow, this North American B-25J Mitchell named “Betty’s Dream” displays its bomb bay doors open in a striking ground pass. Armed with eight forward-firing .50-caliber guns, this gunship configuration enabled devastating low-altitude attacks on enemy airfields and ships. The 345th Bomb Group—known as the “Air Apaches”—was the first unit fully trained and equipped with B-25s in the South Pacific. Their daring missions and distinctive nose art made them legends of the Pacific Theater. This print honors their legacy with vivid detail and historical accuracy.
