Aviation Print - The Bayou Militia F-15 Eagle
Aviation Print - The Bayou Militia F-15 Eagle
McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle
By Timothy Paul Smith Photography
Print Description:
This striking print captures F-15C Eagle 80-0029, flying under "Jazz 2," executing a roaring, high-speed pass at the Chennault Airshow. Maintained by the Louisiana Air National Guard’s 159th Fighter Wing ("Bayou Militia"), this aircraft boasts a long, storied history. From patrolling European borders during the Cold War out of Bitburg Air Base to intercepting strategic targets over the North Atlantic from Keflavik, Iceland, 80-0029 represents the textbook definition of a hard-working air superiority warrior.
