I was so excited when I finally got the opportunity to capture the elusive AWACS aircraft at exercise Red Flag. The E-3 Sentry made a graceful entrance into the landing pattern at Nellis, bathed in the last warm evening light. This bucket list classic shot surpassed all my expectations, leaving an indelible mark on my trip to Nellis.
